Sunshine State of Mind Show

Sunshine State of Mind is a one man show which explores and celebrates our unique Queensland Spirit.

Written and performed by Queenslander Nik Phillips, the 90 minute show (2 x 45 minute sets with a 15 minute intermission) sees Nik sent on a Blues Brothers style “mission of god” by an Origin Legend to figure out how our Queensland Spirit can save this crazy world!

Armed with songs and stories, Nik shines a spotlight on unsung heroes and famous legends, explores our history, reveals Qld’s most important song, shares comedy videos - and even shows how Queenslanders can work together with the ultimate “mini pub choir"! Along the way we all share some laughs, thoughtful moments, and buckets of inspiration!
